My Grandma Winger was able to come down for a couple of weeks and Ava and I were able to spend some time with her. It meant a lot to me and I think it did to her too. Jer took this picture for me on Thanksgiving day, which I thought was very appropriate. My Mom and my Grandma are two of the most important people in my life and I am extremely grateful for their examples. Whenever I have had to do anything challenging or difficult, their voices are the ones I hear in my head encouraging me. I hope and pray that Ava will have their grace and kindness. I love you Mom and Grandma!
