Ava has been such a good big sister and is loving having a little brother. A few days after he was born Ava got a chance to feed Logan. She was so excited and so sweet. It is so nice having such a good helper around!!

Squishy Face!
He may hate us for these pictures later but they were just too cute not to capture. Just look at that squishy little face! I love it!
Visits
Logan was a lucky little lad and got to have visits from both sets of grandparents. Grandma and Grandpa Wilson came down just a few days after he was born (apparently I didn't get any pictures on my camera- oops!!). And Grammie and Papa came down about a week after he was born. He has been super cuddly and loving all of the attention!
Logan James Wilson
Cuddling with Daddy- just a few hours old.
The sleepy little lad having a nap at home- a couple of days old.
Our little baby boy decided to come meet us a couple of weeks early. Logan was born on July 20, 2014 at 3:07 p.m. He weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19.5 inches long. It was quite a different experience compared to Ava's labor and delivery. My water broke around 10:00 a.m. but I wasn't completely sure it had broken. By twelve I was having some pretty decent contractions that were between 3 to 5 minutes apart so we took Ava to her Auntie Coco and went over to the hospital. We got to the hospital at 12:40. I was still a little nervous that maybe my water hadn't really broken but the very wonderful nurses informed me that even if it hadn't broken because I was already dilated to a five and having some contractions my doctor would most likely give me the option to stay if I wanted. Didn't matter. It had broken. They put me on pitocin to get my contractions more regular and I got that lovely epidural. After that everything just went so fast. My doctor got there and it seemed like just a minute or two later I was ready to push. I pushed through four contractions and he was here! So much nicer than pushing for almost four hours like I did with Ava!
It took us a while to come up with a name but not for lack of trying. We had quite the list going on for awhile but we finally settled on Logan James Wilson and we are quite happy with it. He has been such a good baby so far! He has some pretty adorable little grunts and growls and is not afraid to let you know when he is annoyed. All of the pictures that we got from Logan first hour or so were on Jer's phone and I don't have those yet but we do have some others so I'll post those soon!

Cuzzies
Growing up I was lucky enough to have quite a few cousins close to my own age. Four of us were born in the same year. I loved it. We always had so much fun together. Ava has two cousins that were born just a few months after her. We live near Bostyn so she makes frequent appearances on this little family blog and we love getting to spend time with her. Ava's other cousin close to her age is Elsa. We don't live as close to Elsa and her family as we would like so we don't get to see them as often, but when we do get together it is a blast! When I told her we were going camping with Elsie she was so delighted! These two little hooligans play together so well and had so much fun. I'm a little disappointed with myself for not taking more pictures. This is about all we got. We rode four wheelers and dirt bikes, played games and ate lots of good food. We are so glad we got to go. Thanks for the great weekend guys!
